Pedodontics (Dentistry For Children)

Pedodontics (Dentistry For Children)

Pedodontics is a branch of dentistry concerned with the protection of children’s teeth between the ages of 0 and 12, as well as the problems that these teeth might bring, such as caries and trauma. The major goal is to keep the temporary teeth in a healthy position in the mouth. A doctor should be consulted as soon as possible if the youngster complains of pain. The condition of the temporary teeth is critical. Because decay or premature loss of temporary teeth leads the jaw bone to develop insufficiently, future permanent teeth are croded. The treatment of our female and mixed dentition occurs between the ages of 6 months and 12 years. Pedodontsitis are dentists who specialize in pediatric dentistry and preventive dentistry. They are pediatric dentists who have had additional training in child psychology, growth, and development. Pediatric dentists are involved in the treatment of dental and oral issues from childhood through adulthood, or from the time when permanent teeth are present.

Pedodontists are dentists who specialize in treating children and adults with impairments.
